Corky lived with a male named Orky 2 among others. Corky had 7 calves, yet none of them lived longer than 45 days. Her mothering instinct was very strong, and she acts as a mother to many of the younger orcas that she has lived with. When Orkid’s mother died, Corky took her under her wing, and the two are extremely close to this day.

Corky is extremely sweet, and very docile. She loves to interact with her trainers, and spends a lot of time swimming upside down. She is a whale who was used for waterworks and knows many other spectacular behaviors. She is one of the first whales that trainers at SeaWorld San Diego are introduced to.
